OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
We believe movement begins with curiosity about the body you have today.

Our specialists bring different perspectives and techniques to that exploration, while sharing a commitment to individualized care and ongoing learning.

Do I need prior Pilates experience to start? No experience is necessary. Whether you're new to Pilates or have practiced for years, our instructors adapt each session to meet you where you are.
How is Pilates & Beyond Studio different from a regular Pilates studio? Our classes are limited to four participants, allowing for individualized instruction and attention to how each person moves. We also offer specialized therapeutic services for clients who benefit from a more personalized approach.
What equipment do you have? Our studio is fully equipped for both private sessions and small group classes. For private sessions you have access to the Reformer, Cadillac (Trapeze Table), Wunda Chair, Konnector-Reformer, Ped-a-Pole, Ladder Barrel, Half Barrels, and the Core Align. Group classes utilize the Reformer and Wunda Chair.
Do you teach classical or contemporary Pilates? Our instructors bring training in classical and contemporary Pilates. In practice, we lean toward a contemporary, person-centered approach, adapting each session to the individual rather than following a set sequence. Classical Pilates principles remain an important foundation of our work.
Whom do you typically work with?We work with people of all ages, including many active adults in their 70s and 80s. Our clients include those navigating scoliosis, hypermobility, chronic pain, TMJ, pregnancy and menopause, as well as people recovering from hip or knee replacements and other surgeries.
We welcome men and women, from those just beginning a movement practice to lifelong athletes who want to stay active.
Above all, we work with people who want to move with greater confidence and feel more at home in their bodies.
When am I ready for a small group class? Readiness is individual. Some clients begin in a small group, while others benefit from private sessions first. Our instructors can guide you toward a class when the setting can support your movement needs and goals.
How do I get started? Visit our Meet Our Specialists page to learn about each instructor's background and areas of expertise. Then contact the instructor you'd like to work with directly to get started.
